Very much still reminds me of the old restaurant, ah the nostalgia... I love the atmosphere, as I did before... Waitress was prompt, quick to refill our water and professional... Appetizers Baked shrimp scampi.. exquisite, excellent flavors, this is perfection.. Meatballs..ah the aroma, moist, delicate, strong flavor but not overpowering, simply delicious.. Minestrone soup... loaded with nuggets of happiness.. a somewhat subdued flavor, but it's aroma lingers in the throat, I love it, my wife not as much, but that's ok.. Entrees.. Italiano classic combo ( for both of us, usually this doesn't happen..lol)... Starting off this combo, the chicken parmesan very good, perfectly breaded, the sickness is perfect it's not beaten too thin and very good flavor.. perfect cheese to chicken ratio.. Now the fettuccine alfredo... noodles are cooked perfectly, the flavor is good... Finally the lasagna Bolognese. Very well done.... We feel that the meatballs were the star of the show. Everything was excellent, but there was something about those, delicious..... Final thoughts, I knew Dino, we rode together a few times. So this was not my normal review, I wanted to feel that the passion was still here, that it lives up to the old LoSole, it does... Are things different, yes, but the biggest difference is the menu, and for those that used to visit, you will notice some changes, and that it is a simpler menu, and that works ... We will return to sample more entrees and appetizers...

Our first time here. Bonus: we could make a reservation online for 2 people. We ordered the calamari. It was just ok. A bit rubbery. The house salads were good sized and tasted good. Our entrees, a baked manicotti and the pasta mia with scallops, shrimp and cheese filled ravioli in a lobster sauce were both excellent. Servings are still large, but not huge troughs like it was in the Lo Sole days. And that's good! Only one extra meal.

A big surprise in a small Italian restaurant! The veal was tender and the Marsala wine gravy was yummy. I had chicken Parm which was flavorful and delicious. Anthony and his crew are doing Italian food right! Ask for the butter gooey dessert cake, we were in heaven.

A new owner operated restaurant! Some of the menu items have been retained as well as some fresh additions. Service was spot on, courtesy friendly and polite as well as very professional! The food was absolutely delicious, scallops were the best we have had. Pasta was perfectly prepared. House wine was very good ! Will recommend to anyone wanting to dine on fine Italian cuisine.

A true neighborhood restaurant sure to please all generations. When a restaurant hits the trifecta, I have no other choice but to leave a review. From the moment I walked into Mio Italiano, I knew I HAD to capture some pics. Mio Italiano has the right balance of ol' skool charm with a cozy, modern look. It's very clean and that includes their restrooms (very important). Our server was personable, sweet and "real". The food was delicious. Along with their delicious olive oil bread dip, I enjoyed a cup of pasta fazool, the lasagna with bolognese sauce and cannoli for dessert. I included photos of their wine cellar (available for private gatherings).

Chose to come here today as January 4 is National Spaghetti Day and I got their spaghetti and meatballs. Very very good. I also enjoyed their bread service with the roasted garlic and bruchetta tomatoes, and optional olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table. Everything was excellent and I am so glad I came. This was my first time since they reopened after Lo Sol Mio. Their Lemoncello Cream Cake may be the best lemon dessert I have had in this city. I will definitely be back.
